I lost my baby brother on Monday. I watched him grow up and be a funny and loving kid. Then I watched him as a man struggle with his demons, but I also seen the light in his eyes when he talked about his daughter Isis. My heart breaks for her and the man she lost. At the end he was trying to be the father she deserves, the man he wanted to be. I love you Chris, I pray the angels look out for you now. I know they will look out for her.
Chris, you treated me like I was your child. I felt your love and care and protection and I couldn’t even begin to tell anyone how much that means to me. You made me feel important, and you made me feel heard, understood, and cared about.
You always picked on me for being a “hippie” always saying “peaceee” everytime you saw me lol.
I’ll always appreciate the times you’d come sit in my room and just talk to me. And you always told me “don’t worry about it. It’ll be alright”. I can hear your country voice saying it now.

I met you when I was 11. You were my first boyfriend and my first love. You were part of our family for 30+ years. You gave me my first beautiful daughter. You will always be deeply loved. I have peace in knowing you are with God now and you never have to suffer again. You are forever happy and we will see you again one day and rejoice for all eternity.
