Dosa Rosa, I’ve been trying to think of the words all week but nothing seems adequate to express the sadness and shock. You have this bright light about you. Every memory brings a smile and you always have the best cheeser smile. We’ve been friends since you moved in the 6th grade. I was a friend group hopper but one thing always remained the same: I had you and you would always call me on my crap and keep me in line. Most movies I watch I have memories with you, or with grandma taking us to see it in theaters(Jay and Silent Bob was embarrassing). You hated to go to movies that I read the books to because I complained too much during them (Tuck Everlasting and many more). Your movie collection was amazing, it started off as a competition between us but you blew me out of the water on that. You would be pleased that last Saturday I made it through a Knight's Tale without falling asleep! I’ve been listening to Veronica Mars music this week thinking of you. But even oldies I tend to relate back to a favorite movie we’ve watched like Now and Then. We had our TV shows where we both couldn’t work at the market certain nights of the week because we had to watch OTH or Veronica mars. We had our midnight book releases of Harry Potter with your mom. You let me third wheel on your dates. We had our ongoing monopoly game that would stay at your place. Our wallow talkies when you lived around the corner. It was us against the world. I’m sorry I didn’t stay in touch better the last few years. It’s been 5 years since I saw you. The fry picture. 7 years since my week-long trip to visit. You were an amazing host. I wish I was a better friend and had been in touch more. My best childhood memories are with you.
You wrote this: You are not alone, for those we love never truly leave us; it is our actions, that speak through their influence. People come and go everyday in our lives; some influence greater than others, but we are not alone. You will meet people that love you, that fight for you. Because you are not alone. People will stand by you, defend you, love you. Because we are not alone.
I know you will never leave me. You are in my thoughts, my actions, and my influence. Love you always. -Goosey Moosey
