Obituary of Daniel "Danny" Charon Velez

Daniel “Danny” Charon Velez, age 47 of Gallatin, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2022.  Funeral Service will be Saturday, September 17, 2022 in the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin.  Visitation will be Friday, September 16^th from 2:00 – 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, September 17^th from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.  Interment will follow the service at New Hope Cemetery, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin to assist the family with expenses.

Mr. Velez was born May 25, 1975 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico to the late Ermelindo Charon Rodriquez and Paula Velez.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother.  He is survived by children, Paula “Leandra” Velez of Gallatin, Holly Velez of Gallatin, Joshua Torres of Pennsylvania, and Daniely Torres of New York; mother of his oldest children, Jennifer Gregory of Hartsville; brothers, Willi Charon of Pennsylvania and Edwin Rivera of Florida; sisters, Betzaida Rivera of Florida, Nancy Charon of Pennsylvania, Nereida Charon of Puerto Rico, and Maritza Correa of Puerto Rico; and 1 grandchild, Tayden Jackson.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.

Daniel "Danny" Charon Velez, de 47 años de Gallatin, falleció el sábado 10 de septiembre de 2022.  El servicio fúnebre será el sábado 17 de septiembre de 2022 en la capilla de Sellars Family Heritage en Gallatin.  Las visitas serán el viernes 16 de septiembre de 2:00 a 7:00 p.m. y el sábado 17 de septiembre desde las 12:00 p.m. hasta la hora del servicio a las 2:00 p.m. El entierro será después del servicio en el Cementerio New Hope, con la familia y amigos sirviendo como portadores del féretro.  En lugar de flores, se pueden hacer donaciones a Sellars Family Heritage en Gallatin para ayudar a la familia con los gastos.
