Obituary of Violet "Joy" Cole

Mrs. Violet Joy Cole, age 62 of Portland, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022 at her residence. Mrs. Cole was born on September 1, 1960 in Scottsville, Kentucky to the late Clifford Roalin and Betty Jo Link.

Mrs. Cole is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Richard Cole; children, Joseph Cole and Cristin Cole (Roy) Mooneyhan; grandchildren, Blaklyn Mooneyhan, Brantlee Mooneyhan, and Gracie Mooneyhan; brother, Terry Roalin; sister, Penny (Dean) Groves; numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by twin sons; Joshua and Jacob Cole; grandson, Grayson Mooneyhan; brother, Jerry Roalin.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, September 15^th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Portland with Bro. Terry Howser officiating. Interment will follow the service at Sherron Cemetery with Joseph Cole, Timmy Prock, Troy Prock, Roy Mooneyhan, David Lee Oliphant, and Dustin Groves serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, September 14^th from 11:00-7:00 PM and Thursday, September 15^th from 10:00 AM until time of service.

In lieu of flowers, family respectfully requests donations be made to the funeral expenses.
