Obituary of Wanda Jean McKinney

Wanda Jean McKinney, age 69 of Hendersonville, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2022.  Funeral Service will be Friday, November 25^th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin, with Bro. Larry Perry officiating.  Visitation will be Wednesday, November 23^rd from 2:00 – 7:00 p.m. and Friday, November 25^th from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.  Interment will follow the service at Crestview Memory Gardens, with Trey Pitzer, Aaron Morgan, Spencer Baughn, Derrick Bennett, Jacob Duffer, Chris McKinney, and James Paul Clubbs serving as pallbearers.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105-9959 or Nashville Veterans Administration Hospital, 1310 24^th Avenue South, Nashville, TN  37212-2637.

Mrs. McKinney was born September 9, 1953 in Sumner County to the late James Clubbs and Anna Delia Smith Clubbs.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers, Terry Duffer and Buck Clubbs;  She is survived by husband, Kenneth McKinney of Hendersonville; son, Jonathan “Bubba” McKinney (Stacey) of Hendersonville; daughters, Bridgit Bennett (Billy) of Gallatin, Hope McKinney Pitzer (Trey) of Hendersonville, and Ramanda Morgan of Gallatin; brothers, Bobby Duffer of Westmoreland, Dinky Duffer of Hartsville, Robert Clubbs of Blairsville, GA, and Don Clubbs of Bethesda, MD; sisters,  Jennie-Bell Downs of Gallatin and Pat Nolen of Durham, NC; 4 grandchildren, A. J. McKinney, Scarlett Baughn (Spencer), Aaron Morgan, and Derrick Bennett; and 3 great grandchildren, Emma Bennett, Gracie Morgan, and Kyliana Morgan.  Online condolences may be submitted at Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin.
