Obituary of Megan Nixon

Megan Leigh Nixon passed away on November 23, 2022 at age 35. The Funeral Service is 2 p.m. Sunday, November 27, 2022 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. Interment in Cedar Grove Cemetery will follow the service. Pallbearers: Josh Nixon, Scott Shreeves, Keenen Cabrera, Travis Corley, Aaron McGill, and Schuyler Thomas. Honorary Pallbearer: Quinn Thomas Nixon. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 4-8 p.m. and on Sunday from 1 p.m. until the service at 2 p.m.

               Megan Leigh Nixon was born in Nashville TN to Sandra Lee VandenHeuvel and Barry Nixon.  She graduated from Wilson Central, Class of 2005. She loved taking care of people and never met a stranger. She enjoyed dancing, singing, and making people laugh. Megan was also very competitive, especially over board games. She loved her children and the UT Vols.

               Megan is survived by her wife Nicole Steiner; children: Keegan Nixon and Quinn Thomas Nixon; father: Steve Nixon; mother: Sandra Nixon; siblings: Jordan (Zach) Eason, and Joshua Nixon; and nieces and nephews: Barnett Eason, Bowen Eason, and Ellie Paige Eason.
