Obituary of Ray Dean Barber

Mr. Ray Dean Barber, age 90, of Lafayette, passed away Friday, December 9, 2022, at his residence. Funeral Services for Ray Barber are scheduled to be conducted on Monday, December 12, 2022, at 1 PM, from The Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Elder Donald Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in The Macon County Memorial Gardens.

Visitation with the family will begin at the funeral home on Sunday, December 11, 2022, from 2 PM until 9 PM, and on Monday from 9 AM until service time at 1 PM.

Family suggests donations be made to Drury Cemetery or Cedar Bluff Missionary Baptist Church.

Mr. Barber was preceded in death by his Daughters, Linda Barber and Sue Boyd; Son, W.C. Bryant; Parents, Earl Barber and Bide Jones Barber; Brothers, Hillous Barber, Jack Barber, and Alfred Barber; and Sister, Annice Allen
