Obituary of Andrew "Gene" Eugene Brooks, Sr.

Mr. Andrew Eugene Brooks, Sr., age 82 of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2022. Mr. Brooks was born in Portland, Tennessee on June 10, 1940 to the late Guy and Gladys Brooks.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Anne Laura Brooks; brothers, J.D. Brooks and Archie Brooks; sisters, Christine Edwards and Alice Chandler.  

Mr. Brooks is survived by his  sons; Anthony Ray (Annette) Brooks and Andrew (Niki) Brooks, Jr.;  wife, Helen Brooks; grandchildren; Dustin Brooks, Alexi Brooks, Tiffany Brooks, Brandon Brooks, Anthony (Chelsea) Brooks, Jr., and Joshua Brooks; 8 great-grandchildren; brothers, Richard (Mary) Brooks and Charles (Kaye) Brooks.

Funeral Services will be Sunday, December 18th, 2022 at 1 PM from the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home at Hendersonville with Pastor Doug Spain officiating. Interment will follow the service at Green Grove Cemetery in Hartsville, Tennessee with Brandon Brooks, Anthony Brooks, Jr., Dustin Brooks, Rob Gourley, John Drake, and Anthony Brooks, Sr. serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, December 17th from 3PM to 7PM and Sunday, December 18^th from 11AM until time of service at 1 PM.
