Obituary of Claude Greene

M. Claude Greene passed away on December 18, 2022. The Celebration of Life is Monday, January 9, 2023 from 1-3 p.m. at Wilson Manor in Lebanon TN. It will be a drop-in time where we will share special memories and stories of Claude and how he touched all our lives.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Wilson Manor. His final resting place will be in Marion, North Carolina. 

            Malcolm Claude Greene was born in Tifton, GA to Edna Barfield and Claude Lee Greene. Claude spent the majority of his life in Melbourne, Florida, where he met the love of his life, Joyce Greene. They were married for 54 years and raised two sons. Claude was a dedicated member of Calvary Baptist Church and carried a passion for sharing his faith with others. He worked proudly as a Logistics Manager for Pan-Am. In his free time, Mr. Greene enjoyed target shooting, rooting on the Miami Hurricanes, devising creative solutions to repair anything, and investing time in his family. His laughter was infectious and his kindness will not be forgotten by the many lives he touched.

            Mr. Greene is survived by sons Jeff (Tammy) Greene and Jerry (Penny) Greene, and grandchildren Andrea (Jamie) Bender, Courtney Greene, Zach Greene, and Emma Greene. He is preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Joyce Greene, parents Edna and Claude Greene, and sister Carole Krabbe. Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN, 615.444.9393.
