Obituary of Rodger Dale McCullough, Sr.

Rodger Dale McCullough, Sr., age 73 of Portland, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2023.  Funeral Service will be Monday, January 9th 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin.  Visitation will be Sunday, January 8th from 2:00 – 7:00 p.m. and Monday, January 9th from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 3:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin to assist the family with funeral expenses.

Mr. McCullough was born March 24, 1949 in Gallatin to the late George Henry McCullough, Sr. and Vera Dell Pruett McCullough.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, George McCullough, Jr. and Moye McCullough.  He is survived by wife of 24 years, Brenda Draper of Portland; son, Rodger Dale McCullough, Jr. (Stacey) of Gallatin; daughters, Michelle Arias (Greg) of Gallatin, Amy Knowlton (Shane) of Citrus Heights, CA, and Savanna Draper of West Virginia; sister, Kathleen Welch (Richard) of Houston, TX; 11 grandchildren, Rodger Dale “Trey” McCullough, Andrew Dale McCullough (Olivia Thirkill), Katie McCullough, Kara Sulejmani (Arby), Alex McCullough, Valerie Cannon (Adam), Rachael Jackson, Kellie Jackson, Matt Nichols (Ashley), Mark Nichols (Bayleigh), and Luke Nichols (Desiree Ehinger); and 11 great grandchildren.  Mr. McCullough was a goat farmer and loved the Titans.  He was an iron worker/carpenter.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.
