Obituary of Gene Troutt

Gene Troutt, age 81 of Gallatin, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2023.    Funeral Service will be Saturday, January 14^th at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin, with Bro. Jerry Peace officiating.  Visitation will be Friday, January 13^th from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. and Saturday, January 14^th from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will follow the service at New Hope Cemetery, with Roy Troutt, Timothy Troutt, David Troutt, Tommy Troutt, Eugene Boner, and Mike Foster serving as pallbearers.  Serving as honorary pallbearers are Stephen Cato and Eric Givens.

Mr. Troutt was born February 13, 1941 to the late Floyd Troutt and Sissy Mae Slayton Troutt.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by son, Freddy Troutt; daughter, Angie Pike; and 8 brothers and sisters.  He is survived by wife of 64 years, Gail Gregory Troutt; daughters, Ann Cato (Gill) of Nashville, Lisa Clifford of Gallatin, and Jennie Givens of Springfield; 5 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.
