Obituary of Betty Carr Rackley

Ms. Betty Evelyn Carr Rackley, age 89 of Hartsville, TN passed away Tuesday evening, May 2, 2023 at her Daughter’s Home in Manchester, TN.

She was born March 2, 1934 in Hartsville, TN to the late Daniel B. & Frances Gregory Carr.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Brothers, David & Edd Carr and Sisters, Marie Boyanton, Dorothy Newbern and Rebecca Jones.

Survived by:  Daughter, Tina (Jeff) Riddle-Manchester, TN;  3 Grandchildren, Trent Gates, Wayne Hood & Christine (Riley) Haltaufderheide;  6 Great Grandchildren, Beckett Hood, Aiden Hood, Taylor Rose, Laken Rose, Blakely Rose, Emersyn Haltaufderheide;  Brother, Jerry (Pat) Carr-Watertown, TN and Sister, Farris Jean Quinn-Hartsville, TN.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Friday, May 5, 2023 in the chapel of Anthony Funeral Home conducted by Rev. Tim Dunavant  Interment will be in the Green Grove Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will be from 10 AM until service time Friday.
