Obituary of Ava Jean Dixon

Ms. Ava Jean Dixon, age 55 of Portland, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2023 in Lafayette, Tennessee. Ava Jean was born on December 8, 1967 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late James and Ava Suddarth.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Mark Suddarth, Jimmy Suddarth, and Dale Suddarth; nephew, J. J. Suddarth.

She is survived by her children, Caitlin Curtis and Lester Dixon; grandson, Braxton Netherton; sisters, Monica (Rick) Davis and Sue (Teddy) Roberts.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 10^th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Portland. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, May 9^th from 1:00-8:00 PM and Wednesday, May 10^th from 11:00 AM until service time at 2:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations for the funeral expenses.
