Obituary of Irene Goad Roark

Ms. Irene Goad Roark, age 85, of Lafayette, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2023, at Westmoreland Care and Rehab. Funeral services for Ms. Irene Roark are scheduled to be conducted on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at 2 PM from The Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Elder Bengie Blackwell officiating. Interment will follow in The Macon County Memorial Gardens.

Visitation with the family will begin at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, from 5 PM until 9 PM and on Thursday from 8 AM until service time at 2 PM.

The family respectfully request donations be made towards the funeral expenses.

Ms. Irene was preceded in death by her Husband, Robert Gregory Roark; Sons, Russ Roark and Rob Roark; Parents, Cordell Goad and Anna Dotson Goad; and Brother, Tony Goad.

Ms. Irene Roark is survived by;

Robin Liberato and husband, Mark

Son,

Randy Roark and wife, Melissa

Daughter,

Rhonda Lowhorn and husband, Timmy

Sister,

Gloria Cole

Six Grandchildren, Three Great-Grandchildren, and A Host of Nieces and Nephews also survive.
