Obituary of Austin Glenn Wenger
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Austin Glenn Wenger, a talented country music artist, singer, and songwriter. He tragically passed away Saturday, May 6, 2023, at the age of 30. He discovered his love for country music at a young age and pursued it passionately. He moved to Nashville in 2018 to begin his journey of music and found Sarah Rae Paravia, the love of his life. Together they shared all things country. Spending days singing, fishing, and taking care of Whiskey, River, Apollo, and Cora. Austin was the loving son of mother Lori and father Kenneth (Trina) Wenger; beloved brother of Justin “JJ” (Milynn) Evans, Maya Wenger and Katelyn Wenger; uncle of Octavia and Micah Evans; and was a fierce friend to everyone. His biggest fan and supporter cousin Chad Blakeman encouraged him every day to keep living his dream.
Austin was a “Jack of All Trades”, if he put his mind to it, he could accomplish anything. Shortly after arriving in Nashville, he assisted with starting The Handy Man business, truly showing his talent to build, fix, and create the most magnificent projects. Austin would light up any room he walked into. He could make anyone smile and laugh on their worst days. He was known for his great sense of humor, his ability to instantly make friends with anyone that he met, his creativity, generosity, and his love for adventure and the outdoors. He was the kindest soul helping anyone in need. Always looking for a deal and he would never say he couldn’t get what he wanted. He wanted to live life to the fullest and he went out with a full send of nothing short of that.
