Obituary of Curtis Bachelor

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the untimely passing of Curtis Alan Bachelor on May 14, 2023. A truly exceptional individual, Curtis leaves behind a legacy of talent, wisdom, love, and laughter that will forever be cherished by those who were fortunate enough to know him.

Curtis was a man of extraordinary intellect and insight, whose remarkable abilities shone brightly in all aspects of his life. His keen mind and unique perspective allowed him to approach challenges with grace and ingenuity, leaving an indelible mark on the world around him. He was a true testament to the power of intelligence and the beauty of a curious mind.

Beyond his intellectual brilliance, Curtis possessed a deep and abiding love for his family and friends. Curtis was predeceased by his mother, Sharon Vaughn and his father Joseph Bachelor.  He is survived by his wife Yongmei Li, Step-son Sean Bachelor, Son Codie Bachelor, grandson Colton Bachelor and brother, Joel Bachelor.

Services will be held in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN at 4 p.m. on Saturday May 20, 2023. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1 p.m. until the service at 4 p.m.

Curtis was born on June 4, 1965 to Joe and Sharon Bachelor in Fort Payne, Alabama.  Curtis was a very talented Orthotist employed at Vanderbilt University until the time of his death.
