Obituary of Gary Wayne Jenkins

Mr. Gary W. Jenkins, better known as Chicken Man, age 71, of Lafayette, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023. Funeral services for Mr. Gary Jenkins are scheduled to be conducted on Friday, May 19, 2023, at 1 PM from The Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Brother Tim Lowhorn and Brother Brian Flynn officiating. Interment will follow in the Macon County Memorial Gardens.

Visitation with the family will begin at the funeral home on Thursday, May 18, 2023, from 12 Noon until 9 PM, and on Friday from 9 AM until service time at 1 PM.

Family requests donations be made to New Design Missionary Baptist Church.

Gary Jenkins was preceded in death by his wife, Ethelda Joyce Law Jenkins; Daughter, Kimberly Lee Jenkins; Father, Jesse T. Jenkins, Jr. and wife, Emerjean; Mother, Betty Jean Meador Perrigo and husband, A.P.; Sister, Tammy Jenkins; and Infant Brother, Tony Perrigo.
