Obituary of Ruby Leath Nichols

Ms. Ruby Maurine Leath Nichols, age 98, of Lafayette, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2023, at Knollwood Manor. Funeral services for Ruby Nichols are scheduled to be conducted on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at 2 PM, from The Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Elder Anthony Hale officiating. Interment will follow in The Macon County Memorial Gardens.

Visitation with the family will begin at the funeral home on Friday, June 16, 2023, from 2 PM until 9 PM, and on Saturday, from 9 AM until service time at 2 PM.

Ms. Ruby Nichols was preceded in death by her Husband, Ray Alexander Nichols; Son, Robby Nichols; Son-in-law, J.D. Raney; Grandsons, Maury Raney, Ricky Raney and Michael Raney; Granddaughter, Darlene Raney Scott; Parents, Johnny Leath and Alice Smith Leath; Brothers, Audie Leath, and Prentice Leath; Sisters, Anise Evetts, Evell Wilburn, Effie Wilburn, and Rettie Leath,   

Ms. Ruby Nichols is survived by;

Anthony Raney

Keith Nichols and wife, Kaye

Granddaughter,

Kellie Gregory and husband, Jeremy

Eight Great-Grandchildren, Seven Great-Great-Grandchildren, and a host of Nieces and Nephews also survive.
