Obituary of Donald Eugene McClendon

Donald McClendon, commonly known as “Duck”, age 62, went to be with our Heavenly Lord on June 18, 2023.

For most of his adult years, he worked in construction. When he was not working, he enjoyed reading and fishing. His greatest passion, however, was working out and lifting weights, and he did it every morning before the sun rose. Donald was a fine Christian man that will be missed by family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Cindy McClendon, and his parents, Eddie and Susie McClendon. He is survived by his sister, Diane McNorrill; and brother-in-law, Lonnie McNorrill of Knoxville. Also survived by brother, Frank McClendon, and sister-in-law, Debbie McClendon.

A “Celebration of Life” Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at 2:00pm at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens, Mt. Juliet, Tennessee.
