Obituary of Eddie Ray Rush

Mr. Eddie Ray Rush, age 65 of Portland, Tennessee passed away peacefully at his daughter’s home in Ballwin, Missouri on Monday, June 19, 2023. Eddie was born on December 27, 1957 in Lebanon, Tennessee to the late Tom Joe and Mary Anna Rush.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James Roy Rush and sister, Regina Trevino.

He is survived by his daughters, Natasha Willette, Amy (Louie) Trevino, and Ashley Merritt; grandchildren, Christopher Willette, Nathaniel Willette, Emily Grzyb, Hanna Grzyb, Brock Grzyb, Cole Gryzb, Alexis Rush, Anthony Merritt, Jr., and Alivia Merritt; brothers, Joey (Misty) Rush and Kenneth (Darlene) Rush.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 23^rd at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Portland with Bro. Matt Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Old Brush Cemetery with Dwayne Rush, Nathaniel Willette, Anthony Merritt, Jr., Brock Grzyb, Cole Grzyb, James Michael Trevino, James Michael Trevino, Jr., Takoda Neal, and Tyler Neal serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, June 22^nd from 4:00-8:00 PM and Friday, June 23^rd from 11:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.
