Obituary of David Stanley Cooper

David Stanley Cooper, 74, of Antioch, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at his home to be with the Lord on June 20th, 2023. He was surrounded by his loving wife, Rose Cooper, her daughter Tammy as well as her niece Tina.

David was born December 7th, 1948 in LaFollette, Tennessee to Raymond Cooper and Margaret Peggy. He was the eldest brother of Dale Charlie Cooper of Tennessee and sister Donna Russel Cavanaugh of California. David is survived by his only son, Jefferey Cooper, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren, along with his soulmate of 20 years, Rose Marie Cooper.

David was a strong-willed individual with a wonderful sense of humor, bringing an abundance of laughs and smiles to all of those he surrounded. He was a very talented woodworker as well as fixed and built almost anything. His passions always involved mother nature, such as golfing, fishing, hiking and traveling the country. He was a member of Christ Church of Nashville, Tennessee. 

Funeral service will be held Saturday, June 24th at 11 am at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Pastor Scott Hale officiating. Interment will be after the service at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens and will be followed by a luncheon at Victory Baptist Church which is located beside the cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, June 24th from 10 am until service time.
