Obituary of Patricia Jane Chalfant
Mrs. Patricia Jane Chalfant, age 88 of Portland, Tennessee passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 21, 2023. Mrs. Patricia was born on January 6, 1935 in Buckhorn, Kentucky to the late Ilie and Allena Rakes.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Chalfant; son, Michael D. Chalfant; sisters, Sarah Gilbert, Rachel Kisac, and Peggy Murphy; infant brother.
She is survived by her sons, Steven V. (Laura) Chalfant and Richard A. Chalfant; sister, Iline (Ted) Fugate; 5 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 24th at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Portland with Steven Manley officiating. Interment will follow at Old Brush Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, June 24th from 11:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.
