Please accept my deepest and sincere condolences for all grieving Matt. I met Matt years ago through a friend who loved him dearly. He was so funny to listen to and speak to on the telephone. He made me laugh and smile on multiple occasions. Sad to hear of his passing.

Matt,
It has been 19 days since the worst night of my life and it still hurts like Day 1. Since you've been gone, many people have told me that I will move on and love again. In my opinion, even talking about such a thing is premature and disrespectful. I know they mean well, and so I try not to allow my face to show the disgust at even the thought of being with someone other than you. We both know that I don't hide my emotions very well. It is written all over my face. When its all said and done, they don't know how much of myself I gave to you. They don't know that I wasn't just willing to fight over you, but I was willing to go to war. They don't know how bad it hurts to lose you. They don't know that I have been physically sick during this grieving process, while still ministering to our daughters.They don't know how close this loss came to destroying me. They don't know that there is no way that I can allow myself to love anyone that much again.They don't know that I can't even imagine being able to trust a man that isn't you living under the same roof with our three daughters. They don't know that I'm willing to work myself to death to provide for our family before I open myself up to another relationship for financial security. They don't know that even though I said till death do we part in my vows, I actually meant for eternity. They don't know any of these things and a hundred more reasons why you are the only one for me forever...but you do. You always understood the depth of my love, and that I could never give up on you. You completely ruined me for all other men, because they will never measure up to you. I don't know what the Lord has planned for the rest of my days on Earth, but I do know that I will love you and honor your memory until my very last one. I will continue on with our plan, and I will see you on the other side.
