Obituary of Teisha Thurman

Teisha Thurman, age 39 of Gallatin, passed away on Monday, July 3, 2023.  Ms. Thurman was born October 17, 1983 in Gallatin.  She is preceded in death by father, Roger Edward Thurman.  She is survived by mother, Rachel Nell Kemp Thurman of Lafayette; fiancé, Eliezer Perez of Nashville; sons, Cody Colter (Allison) of Hartsville, Brian Colter (Chloe) of Hartsville, and Justin Colter of Lafayette; brothers, Brandon Owen of Cookeville and Hunter Thurman of Lafayette; sisters, Tasha Barrientos (Alfonso) of Gallatin, Maranda Vicente Sontay (Jorge Luis) of Gallatin, and Makenzie Thurman of Gallatin; and 6 grandchildren, Henry Thayer, Michael Thayer, Jolene Thayer, Serenity Thayer, Elijah Colter, and Christopher Colter.  Teisha was a loving mother of 3 handsome boys. She was a grandmother to many. She was a loving, caring soul. She opened her heart and home to anyone. She loved in an unconditional way. She loved music, drawing, and coloring. Fall was her favorite season of the year. She loved taking rides on back roads and enjoying nature. She was always a warrior and saved so many in her own way.
