Obituary of Chad Maxey

Chad Maxey, age 50 of Gallatin, passed away Friday, August 4, 2023 in a tragic car accident.   There will be a Celebration of Life gathering on Saturday, August 26^th at Hartsville Pike Church of Christ Fellowship Building from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. with special guest speakers beginning at 3:00 p.m.   Following the speakers, the family will host a pot luck dinner, where everyone can bring their favorite dish or dessert and stories of Chad to share.

Mr. Maxey is preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Rufus and Norma Leath; and paternal grandparents, Melvin and Dorothy Maxey.  He is survived by his mother, Nancy Maxey of Gallatin; father, Davis Maxey (Brenda) of Lafayette; children, Cody Broadrick, Gavon Guard, and Peyton Maxey; brother, Chuck Maxey of Gallatin; special nephew, Cam Maxey of Gallatin; and step-sisters, Tammy Davis (Rocky) of Lafayette, Beth Doss (Jeff) of Lafayette, Carol Wells (Mike) of Lafayette, and Marsha Bilbrey of Lewisburg.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.
