Obituary of Dimple Mai Fields

FIELDS, Dimple “Granny” Mai, age 90 of Nashville, passed away on August 21, 2023.

She was a wonderful mother, sister, granny, aunt, and friend who will be missed by many.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernie and Ruby Harrell; brothers, Johnny Harrell, Grover Harrell, and Vernie Harrell, Jr.; sisters, Ruth Mahaffy, Minnie Brewer, and Emmy Downy. She is survived by her son, James “Jimmy” H. Fields; daughter, Liddia Sue McGuire; and son, Lewis Edward (Sharon) Fields; brother, Clifford (Peggy) Harrell; grandchildren, Stephanie (Tom) Cavanagh, Stephen (Krista) Mistich, Christian Mistich, Andrew Cavanagh, Lauren Cavanagh, Isabella Mistich, Elizabeth Mistich, Scarlet Mistich, Stephen Mistich; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 2^nd at 2:00pm at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Pastor Jay Voorhees officiating. The Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12:00pm until service time at 2:00pm.

Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet has been entrusted with the care of Mrs. Fields.
