Thelma Grace Luttrell Noe

It is with great sadness and joy that the family of Thelma Noe announces her passing on August 28, 2023. Sadness that she has left this world. But such great Joy that she is in Heaven today.  Thelma was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ.

Thelma was born November 10 1935 to John and Jewell Luttrell in Hermitage Tn. She graduated from Donelson High School in 1954. Immediately after graduation she moved to Old Hickory where she worked in the dental industry before attending Nursing School and becoming an LPN. Thelma treasured her time as nurse and was grateful to have the opportunity be a help to others. While working as a nurse, Thelma met the love her life,  Andy Noe. There are no words that can describe their love and life together. They were meant to be.Thelma and Andy had two children, Andy Jr and Sarah whom she gave up nursing to raise. When her children were grown, Thelma rejoined the workforce, as a caregiver. After retiring Andy and  Thelma were together as much as possible. They enjoyed time with grandchildren, working to make their yard beautiful, taking care of numerous pets, and even became football fans later in life. Thelma also loved to crochet and was a lifelong county music fan.

Thelma is preceded in death by her parents John and Jewell Luttrell; sister Juanita Lamberth and brother William "Buddy" Luttrell. Thelma also lost her best friend and loving husband Andrew Noe Sr in 2010.

Thelma leaves behind children Andy Noe Jr (Melanie), Sarah Martie (Frank), grandchildren Nicole Martie, Lila Martie, Gracey Noe and her longtime time companion Angel, her parrot.

The family would like to extend special appreciation to Darline Young and Bonnie Gatewood who made it possible for Thelma to stay in her home happily and safely during the final season of her life.
