Obituary of Lawrence D. Dyer

Mr. Lawrence Delford Dyer, age 105, of Lafayette, passed away Sunday, September 17, 2023, at Macon Community Hospital. Funeral services for Mr. Lawrence Dyer are scheduled to be conducted on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at 12 Noon, from The Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Elder Glen Brawner officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow in The Frog Pond Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will begin at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, from 3 PM until 9 PM and on Wednesday from 9 AM until service time at 12.  

 

Mr. Lawrence Dyer was preceded in death by his 1st Wife, Virgie Freeman Dyer; 2nd Wife, Minnie Parker Dyer; Sons, Jackie Dyer and Danny Dyer; Parents, Sidney Mitchell Dyer and Emily Parker Dyer; Brothers, S.M. Dyer, Grandville Dyer, Chester Lee Dyer, Arnett Dyer, Carl Dyer, Jessie Dyer, Brandle Dyer, and Randle Dyer; and Sister, Myrtle Dyer.

 

Lawrence Dyer is survived by;

Mary Jane Tuttle and husband, Jerry

Judy Dyer

Peggy Sutton and husband, Bobby

Patricia Holland and husband, James

 

Sons,

Chester Dyer

David E. Dyer and wife, Donna A.

 

Brother,

Charlie Dyer and wife, Betty

 

Sixteen Grandchildren, and Numerous Great Grandchildren, and Great-Great Grandchildren also survive.
