Obituary of Daniel Clyde Bagshaw, Sr.

Mr. Daniel Clyde Bagshaw, Sr., age 79 of Portland, Tennessee was born on September 26, 1943 went to sleep in Jesus Sunday, September 17, 2023.

Mr. Bagshaw was born in Greenville, South Carolina to the late John H. Bagshaw and Ruth Bagshaw. He married Janet G. Bagshaw on August 1, 1964. He was in the Navy from 1962 thru 1968. He retired from Tennessee Christian Medical Center in 2006 after 18 years of employment. He has been enjoying his retirement since that time. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He thought the world of all his grandchildren. He was a member of the Highland Seventh-Day Adventist Church and a lifelong member of the Seventh-Day Adventist faith. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Carver.

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Janet G. Bagshaw; sons, Douglas B. Bagshaw (Claudia), Richard H. Bagshaw (Stacy), and Daniel C. Bagshaw, Jr. (Bridget); grandchildren, Sara Bagshaw, Lillian Bagshaw, Alyssa Bagshaw, Cheyenne Bagshaw, Colton Bagshaw, Daniel Bagshaw, III., and Caroline Bagshaw; sister, Teresa Bagshaw; brother-in-law, Leonard Carver.

A graveside service with military honors will be held Wednesday, September 20^th at 1:00 PM at Old Brush Cemetery in Portland with Jerry Rimer officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests donations to the Adventist World Radio.
