Obituary of Lewis Rayburn Dickerson

Mr. Lewis Rayburn Dickerson, Jr., age 78 of Portland, Tennessee passed away on Friday, October 6, 2023 at his residence. Lewis was born on July 2, 1945 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Lewis and Ocie Dickerson.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Dickerson.

He is survived by his wife, Darlene Mayberry Dickerson; daughters, Kimberly (Tommy) Hicks, Tammy Buntin, Rebecca (Steve) Griggs, Karla (Jason) Coleman, Cecilia (Tony) Smith, Mariah Dickerson, and Keeli Dickerson; sons, David (Tina) Harris, Stewart (Sharon) Harris, and Johnathan (Jennifer) Bunch; sister, Nora Martin; 19 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 9^th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Portland with Pastors Roy McGregor and James Mallard officiating. Interment with military honors will follow the service at Jake Link Cemetery. Pallbearers are Johnathan Bunch, David Harris, Stewart Harris, Jason Coleman, B.J. Bishop, Tony Smith, Austin Coleman, and Jayden Glover. Honorary pallbearers are Wesley Harris and Tristen Harris. Visitation with the family will be Monday, October 9^th from 10:00 AM until time of service at 2:00 PM.
