Obituary of Jeff Garrett, Jr.

Jeff Garrett, 41 of Lebanon TN, passed away on October 7, 2023.  The Memorial Service is 2 p.m. Friday, October 20, 2023 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1 p.m. until the service at 2 p.m.

               In a word, Jeff’s inquisitiveness and keen intellect drove all of his pursuits whether it be work or play. Whatever he did, he was all in!  Jeff was strong willed and stubborn at times, but he had an enormous heart and a wonderful sense of humor. He was a diehard Titan’s fan and loved traveling. Jeff was a generous and loyal young man. He was clever and full of vim and vigor, with knowledge gained through all life experiences. He will be remembered for all the heart he shared with family and friends. He truly loved each of them-and if you knew him, you knew it. Jeff had a gentle soul. He would do anything to help his fellow man, including giving the shirt off his back. He was the official photographer of the misfits!

               Jeff is survived by his father Jeffery William Garrett Sr., his sisters Virginia Garrett and Kimberly (Jason) Haskin, nephews Cody Sircy and Hunter Sircy, and his best friend Amy Ange, many aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him dearly. He is preceded in death by his mother Mildred Rowena Garrett, grandmother Mildred Maxine Hyatt Perry, grandparents Effie Virginia and Thomas Garrett, and aunt Freda Rollin.
