Obituary of Eugene John Ornes

Mr. Eugene John Ornes, better known as Gene, age 82, of Hendersonville Tennessee, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2023, at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville. Eugene was born on March 16, 1941, in Sparta, Wisconsin, to the late Melvin Arnold Ornes and Alda Gertrude Vestreng Ornes.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Johnson Ornes; Daughter, Jennifer O'Neal and husband, John; Brother, Edward Ornes and wife, Patricia; and Grandsons, Patrick O'Neal and Jacob O'Neal.

A memorial service with Military Honors will be conducted on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at 5 PM from the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home at Hendersonville with Caren Teichmann officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Shriner's Hospital.
