Obituary of Ruby Nell Doss

Mrs. Ruby Nell Evetts Doss, age 88, of Lafayette, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2023, at Knollwood Manor. Funeral services for Ruby Nell Doss are scheduled to be conducted on Sunday, October 15, 2023, at 2 PM, from The Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Elder Anthony Hale officiating. Interment will follow in The Macon County Memorial Gardens.  

Visitation with the family will begin at the funeral home on Saturday, October 14, 2023, from 11 AM until 9 PM and on Sunday from 9 AM until service time at 2 PM.

Family respectfully requests donations be made towards Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church.

Ruby Nell Doss was preceded in death by her Husband, Calson “Rabbit” Doss; Parents, Charlie Clemons Evetts and Velvie Corene Nichols Evetts; Sister, Willie Dee Hancock; and Infant Brother, Thomas Evetts.
