Obituary of James Daniel Breedwell
BREEDWELL, JAMES “HAPPY”, Born to Angie Ancona Breedwell and the late Olen Breedwell, Sr., JAMES was always a very creative kid and began writing songs at a very young age. Everywhere he went he would take his songwriting book along. As a matter of fact, he landed several Writing/Publishing deals after moving to Nashville, Tennessee from Cincinnati, Ohio.
With thousands of songs in his catalog, JAMES’ extensive musical background spans decades, and earned him the nickname “HAPPY”. He has written with and for several renowned Artists and Songwriters, including Jackie Evancho, Blake Shelton, Joe Nichols, Craig Morgan, Craig Wiseman, Brooks & Dunn, Tia Sellers, Danny Wells, Dana Oglesby, Eddie Kilgallon, Brett James, Florida Georgia Line, and Keith Floyd – just to name a few. Many Songwriters, Artists and Poets have been featured on his Songwriter Nights and Radio Shows. JAMES felt incredibly blessed to have co-written “Come Out in Jesus Name” (title cut) and other songs with Jeffrey Joslin. In addition, JAMES’ numerous awards include the Tennessee Songwriter of the Year for the Josie Awards and several other awards.
JAMES had such a sense of humor, he constantly told jokes and watched comedy. When his kids, Desire’ and Delaney were little he always loved doing magic tricks with them. When his grandson, Darius, came along he became JAMES’ pride and joy. Speaking of humor, it is rumored that his siblings, Kelly (Jason), Patty (Steve), Tom (Wanda), Mike, and Robbie (Tracey) are all stand-up comedians. JAMES also possessed an uncanny fixation for electronics, embracing distinct outcomes. His certifications in computer science afforded him the knowledge to explore major technologies again and again. JAMES was also an advocate of duct tape, he taped everything! This probably inspired the title for one of his songs, “Duct Tape Bible”. Don’t underestimate him; there sure is duct tape on his Bible!
We know you’ve seen it or heard about it, God, Buddy, and Me Ministries. Yep, JAMES dog Buddy was apparently CEO. JAMES boldly proclaimed the word of God. The message that JAMES “HAPPY” BREEDWELL leaves for his family, friends, and Global Vison Bible Church Family is absolute: “GO GO GO Tell the World about Jesus”.
