Obituary of Melinda McClary

Melinda McClary, age 74 of Gallatin, passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2023.  Funeral Service will be Wednesday, November 29th at 2:00 p.m. at Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin, with Bishop Issac Williams, Jr officiating.  Visitation will be Wednesday, November 29th from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.  Interment will follow at Crestview Memory Gardens, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin to assist the family with expenses.

Mrs. McClary was born December 28, 1948 in Cleveland, TN to the late Jacob Lake McClary, Jr. and Dorothy Roark McClary.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brother, Benny McClary.  She is survived by daughters, Melissa Alley (Paul) of Hendersonville and Mary Beth Sturdivant of Gallatin; brother, Jacob McClary III of Spain; and grandchild, Isabella Alley.  Mrs. McClary taught for the Sumner County Board of Education, GED Classes, at Volunteer State Community College and in Hendersonville. In addition, Mrs. McClary was a CPA and Budget Analyst.   Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.
