Obituary of Jimmy Dale Griggs

Mr. Jimmy Dale Griggs, age 74, of Lafayette, passed away Monday, January 1, 2024, at his residence. Funeral services for Jimmy Griggs are scheduled to be conducted on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at 1 PM from The Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Elder Anthony Hale and Brother Jerry Watson officiating. Interment will follow in the Drury Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will begin at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, from 4 PM until 9 PM, Wednesday, 9 AM until 9 PM, and on Thursday, from 9 AM until service time at 1 PM.

Jimmy was preceded in death by Parents, William J.R. Griggs and Ruby Gordon Carr Griggs; and Special Cousin, Poke White.
