Obituary of Daniel C Denson

Daniel C. Denson passed away on January 1, 2024 at age 75. The Funeral Service, conducted by Ron Ullrich, is 11 a.m. Friday, January 5, 2024 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. Interment in Bethlehem Cemetery will follow the service. Pallbearers: Marine Veterans. Honorary Pallbearers: Waffle House, Lebanon 109 and Lascassas, workers. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. and on Friday from 10 a.m. until the service. All veterans, come and let’s send this veteran Home with love and respect.

               Daniel Clay Denson was born on May 21, 1948 in Lebanon TN to Lois Brown Knight Denson and Eliga B. Denson. He served in the United States Marine Corps during Vietnam, 1968-1969 and received an Honorable Discharge as Lance Corporal. Upon his return home, he started working at Precision Rubber manufacturing O-Rings until his retirement 35 years later. He married his wife, friend, and love Patricia Gail Fisher Denson on June 21, 1980.  Daniel was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Lebanon TN.

               Mr. Denson is survived by his wife of 43 years, Patricia Denson; son: Corey Orion Denson and his wife Kendra Cole Denson; granddaughter: Cadence Denson; brother-in-law: Johnny (Carol) Fisher; nieces: Tina and Teri; and cousins: Clyde, Kathy, and Rebecca Knight. He is preceded in death by his parents Lois and Eliga Denson and in-laws Jewell Pope Fisher and Henry Fisher.
