Obituary of Larry Eugene Slaven
Mr. Larry Eugene Slaven, age 70 of Portland, Tennessee passed away Thursday, January 11, 2024 at his residence. Larry was born on June 2, 1953 in Marshes Siding, Kentucky to the late Harold and Victoria Lyons Slaven.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Lexi Grace Slaven; brothers, Ralph Lyons of Lebanon, OH and Roger Slaven of Marshes Siding, KY; sisters, Zula Lyons Harness of Marshes Siding, KY and Linda Slaven Boutwell of Oneida, TN.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Debbie Slaven; children, Brian (Katy) Slaven, Jamie (Jamie Sexton) Slaven, and Kelly (Steve) Brown; grandchildren, Steven Brown, Angelle (Adam) Alford, Rachel Johns, Matthew Slaven, Kerstin Slaven, Chandler Boshers, Kenzie Brown, and Livy Slaven; great-grandchildren, Scarlett Slaven and Grayson Alford.
Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, January 16th from 2:00-6:00 PM at Sellars Family Heritage at Portland.
