Obituary of Ricky Ramsey

Ricky Ramsey, age 68 of Scottsville, KY passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024.  Funeral Service will be Monday, January 15^th at 1:00 p.m. at Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin, with Richard Ramsey, Jr. officiating.  Visitation will be Sunday, January 14^th from 2:00 – 7:00 p.m. and Monday, January 15^th from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m.  Interment will follow the service at Haysville Cemetery, 119 Haysville Circle, Lafayette, TN  37083 with Caleb Ramsey, Ryan Ramsey, Tex Ramsey, Jr., Ed Carter, Mike Emmonds, and Raymond Summers serving as pallbearers.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin to assist the family with expenses.

Mr. Ramsey was born December 2, 1955 in Gallatin to the late Frankie D. Ramsey and Martha Frances Carter.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sister, Sue Moore; ½ brothers, Doug Spears and Carl Spears; and ½ sister, Jennifer Simpson.  He is survived by wife of 53 years, Katie Sue Anderson Ramsey; sons, Richard Lee Ramsey, Jr. (Monica) of Westmoreland, Paul Lee Ramsey (Carrie) of Lafayette; and Tex Lee Ramsey (Shelia) of Scottsville, KY; sister, Debbie Biggers (Ricky) of Westmoreland; grandchildren, Caleb Ramsey, Ashton Ramsey, Ryan Ramsey, Paul Ramsey, Jr., Toni Sue Bell (Kyle), Makayla Ramsey, Jolene Boone, Carrie May Ramsey-Robinson (Koltan Robinson), Tex Ramsey, Jr., and Emily Ramsey; and 10 great grandchildren.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.
