Obituary of Annie Grace Morris

Mrs. Annie Grace Morris, age 89 of Hartsville, TN passed away Monday evening, January 29, 2024 at her home. Mrs. Morris was born January 30, 1934 in Williamson Co., TN to the late Thomas Ross & Willie Mae Anderson Poteete.  She spent most of her working career as a Production Worker at GE in Hendersonville. 

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by:  Husband, Tommy Ray Morris;  Son, Thomas Richard Morris:  Brother, Ross Poteete Jr. and Sisters, Betty Jones, Ethel Johnson, Lynia Davis, Margaret Poteete and Elizabeth Poteete.

Survived by:  Daughter, Sharon (Roy) Richardson-Hartsville, TN; Son, Don (Deb Davis) Morris-Hartsville, TN; Granddaughter, Amanda (Dan) Stubblefield; Step Granddaughter, Rhonda (Steve) Cooper; Great Grandchildren, James, Grace & Emily Stubblefield; Step Great Grandchildren, Joshua, Jonathan (Caroline) & Joseph Cooper, Nathan (Anna Jane) Richardson and Alaina (Trentt) Blackburn; Step Great Great Grandchildren, Casen & Lakelyn Blackburn and Millie Jane & Kallen Richardson; Brother, German Poteete-Springfield, TN; Sisters, Mary Ruth (Allen) Toungette-Franklin, TN & Virginia Jones-Calahan, FL and Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Anthony Funeral Home at 1 PM Friday, February 2, 2024 conducted by Bro. Matt Brown. Interment will be in the Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Visitation with the family will be from 1 to 7 PM Thursday and 11 AM until service time Friday.
