Obituary of Douglas Roy

Douglas Roy passed away on February 1, 2024 at age 60. The Celebration of Life, conducted by Jeff Garrett, is 6 p.m. Monday, February 5, 2024 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN.  The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Monday from 5 p.m. until the service at 6 p.m.

Douglas Todd Roy was born in Springfield Missouri to Linda Louise Campbell Roy and Kelly Roy. Doug graduated from Lebanon High School where he played football in 1982. He attended MTSU. Doug travelled the world with the United States Navy, serving aboard the USS Spartanburg.  He then followed his passion for fast cars. Doug worked as a race car Automotive Specialist. He loved everything about racing and race cars. He had played football in high school and his love for the game endured throughout his life. Doug was a Tennessee Titans fan.

               Doug is survived by his wife of 6 years, Jill Garrett, children Alexandria Megan Roy and Denholm Roy, and brother Mark Roy. He is preceded in death by his parents Linda and Kelly Roy and sister Kelly Jo Roy Jr.
