Obituary of Eric "Murdoc" Shane Stanley

Mr. Eric “Murdoc” Shane Stanley, age 55 of Portland, Tennessee passed away Friday, February 17, 2024 at TriStar Portland ER. Mr. Stanley was born on August 31, 1968 in Jackson, Tennessee to Anthony Stanley and Dorothy Stanley Wells.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Alexandria Stanley; twin brother, Derrick Stanley; grandmother, Ruth Hooper; grandfather, Lawson Swain; mother-in-law, Ramona Southern; father-in-law, Glenn Pegram.

He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Melissa Stanley; daughters, Brittany Jenkins and Jessica Stanley; son in law, Aaron Mays; father, Anthony Stanley (Saundra); mother, Dorothy Stanley Wells (Robert); sisters, Carrie Beth Prilliman (Keith) and Shea Whaley (JJ); brother, Jonathan Stanley (Robbie); grandchildren, Trinity Jenkins, Destiny Perry, Lilian Stanley, Trevor Watson, Carson Loposser, Annabelle Stanley, and Zihar Stanley; nieces, Caitlin Prilliman, Abby Prilliman, Elaina Whaley, and Tatum Stanley; nephews, Luke Whaley, Benjamin Whaley, Jack Whaley, and Windham Stanley.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 24^th at 12:00 PM from the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Portland.
