Obituary of Polly Crawford

Polly Crawford passed away on February 22, 2024 at age 74.  The Funeral Service is 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 28, 2024 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. Brother Larry Gibbs and Brother David Thaxton will conduct the service. Interment in Wilson County Memorial will follow the service. Pallbearers: Brian Johnson, Michael Cowley, Daniel Johnson, Justin Butler, Jimmy Vaughn, Timmy Vaughn, Tony Hoy, and James Townsend.  Honorary Pallbearer: Paul Johnson. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. and on Wednesday from noon until the service at 1 p.m.

               Mary Paulette Johnson Crawford was born in DeKalb County TN to Pauline George and Virgil Johnson. She loved her family. Polly loved going to yard sales and thrift shopping, always on the lookout for trinkets and dolls that needed a home. She also enjoyed gardening, especially vegetables. She and her husband were members of the Full Gospel Tabernacle.

               Mrs. Polly Crawford is survived by her husband of 36 years, Charlie Crawford; son Edward Jacky (Sherry) Brady; many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings: Sue Vaughn, Lester (Jane) Johnson, Jerry Johnson, and Michael Johnson; and several beloved nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her granddaughter Cindy Brady, parents Pauline and Virgil Paul Johnson, brothers Billy Johnson, Sherman Johnson, and Edward Johnson, and sisters Rita Gorman and Elizabeth Bennett.
