Obituary of Margie Smith

Margie Smith, age 75 of Hermitage, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2024.  Funeral Service will be Tuesday, March 5^th at 2:00 p.m. at Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin.  Visitation will be Tuesday, March 5^th from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.  Interment will follow the service at Old Brush Cemetery. 

Mrs. Smith was born February 16, 1949 to the late Andrew K. Carter and Lillian Gregory Carter.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers, Harvey Carter, Andrew Carter, Robert Carter, Emmitt Carter, Roy Carter, and Charles Carter and sister, Juanita Locke.  She is survived by husband of 52 years, Marion “Sonny” Smith of Hermitage; brother, Ronnie Carter (Linda) of Old Hickory; sister, Joyce Scott of Gallatin; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved as her own.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.
