Obituary of Ernestine Birchett

Ernestine Birchett, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at the age of 90. Ernestine was born in Kentucky but resided in Mount Juliet for most of her life. 

Her beloved husband of 62 years, Jimmy Birchett, preceded her in death. She is survived by her children, Sandy Birchett, Randy (Elaine) Birchett, and Tammy (Derrick) Knowles; her grandchildren, Misty, Chase, Matt, and Nikii, a cherished grandchild, bound not by blood but by an unbreakable bond of love; great-grandchildren, Luke, Laina, Parker, Lincoln, Caroline, and Polly; and numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends. 

Ernestine was a devoted homemaker who took great pride in caring for her family. She was a selfless and nurturing person who always put the needs of her loved ones before her own. Her family was her top priority, and she was a constant source of love and support for all of them. She would go to great lengths to make sure they were happy, healthy, and well taken care of.

Ernestine had a passion for plants and pets, and her home was a reflection of that. Her love for blooming flowers was unparalleled, and she would spend hours tending to her garden and making sure her plants were thriving. She would often marvel at the beauty of her flowers and how they brought a sense of peace and tranquility to her home. Her pets were like her children, and she adored them as such. She would pamper them with love, care, and attention, and they would reciprocate her affection in kind.

Ernestine was an active member of her church and was involved in many of their activities. She found joy in contributing to the community and was always eager to help those in need. She loved to cook and was known for her exceptional culinary skills. Her cooking was a reflection of her love and care, and her dishes were always prepared with the utmost attention to detail. She would often prepare meals for church events and family gatherings, and her cooking was always a highlight of the occasion.

Ernestine's children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, along with everyone who knew her, will deeply miss her. She had a heart of gold and a spirit that was contagious.
