Obituary of Donald "Don" Gene Gilliam
Donald “Don” Gene Gilliam, age 80 of Hendersonville, Tennessee passed away peacefully at his residence surrounded by his family on Tuesday, March 19, 2024. Don was born on March 7, 1944 in Humboldt, Tennessee to the late Arnold and Alberta Gilliam.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Scotty Gilliam; brother, Phillip Gilliam; sister, Janice Commander.
Don is survived by his loving wife, Julie Gilliam; children, Eric Gilliam, Shane (Adina) Gilliam, and Andrea (John) Zirkle; step-children, Chris Gregory and Candice Cunningham; grandchildren, Kara Gilliam, Daniel Gilliam, Quila Cervelli, Hannah Gilliam, and Maggie Hutchinson; great-grandchildren, Siena Cervelli, Robbie Cervelli, and Paolo Cervelli; brothers, Mark Gilliam and Mike (Delan) Gilliam; sister, Camila Myers.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, March 22nd at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home at Hendersonville with Glen Rodgers officiating. Visitation with the family will be Friday, March 22nd from 1:00 PM until service time at 3:00 PM.
