Obituary of Shirlene Tomlinson

Shirlene Tomlinson, of Castalian Springs, passed away on March 26, 2024 at age 72. The Funeral Service, conducted by Brother Gordon Lee and Pastor Drew Estes, is 2 p.m. Monday, April 1, 2024 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. Interment in Wilson County Memorial will follow the service. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Monday from 11 a.m. until the service at 2 p.m.

              Shirlene Tomlinson was born in Lebanon TN to Clara E. Cubbins and Marvin Webster. She was a member of the Church of God Worship and Ministry Center. Her annual women’s church retreat was a highlight. She enjoyed being outdoors, specifically camping, swimming, and water skiing. She collected anything frog related. She worked as a Pharmacy Tech.

               Shirlene is survived by her husband: Bill Tomlinson; children: Melanie Hackney, Bailey Gilliland, Bill (Gail) Tomlinson Jr., and Chasity (Dan) Hansell; grandchildren: Breann Rollins, Dillon Tomlinson, Lexi Tomlinson, Brandon Tomlinson, Magan Pabon, and Amber Manning; sister: Patty (Willie B.) McGowan; sister-in-law: Sue  (Wayne) Carmack; beloved great-grandchildren: Jaycee, Angel, and Caidence Gilliland, Ellie Rollins, and Elliott and Emelia Vanhouser; nieces: Michelle McGowan and Candie Wells; nephews: Chad McGowan, Shane McGowan, and Joey Carmack; great-nieces: Kelsey McGowan and Hunter Ring; and great-nephew Austin McGowan. She is preceded in death by parents Clara and Buck Webster.
