Obituary of Lorene Frances Allen
Lorene Frances Allen (née Coker) of Gallatin, Tennessee, passed away on the morning of March 25, 2024. She was born on April 15, 1952 in Hartsville, Tennessee and lived throughout middle Tennessee throughout her life. Funeral Service will be Monday, April 1st at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin. Visitation will be Monday, April 1st from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Willow Grove Cemetery.
Throughout her life, Frances inspired friends, family, and community members alike with her quick wit, steadfast faith, and firm commitment to caring for her family. Her ability to brighten even the hardest days with her talented home cooking will be especially missed by friends and family. To those who survive her, she will remain an inspiration and a guiding example of how to love fiercely and give selflessly through thick and thin. Frances spent a good portion of her life working at and fostering a community within First Baptist Church Hendersonville, where her memory will forever be honored.
Frances has joined her daughter Nikki Brown, brothers Ralph and Bill Coker, mother Eugenia Coker, and father Edward Coker, as well as niece Amy Coker in heaven. She is survived by her husband Don Allen, daughters Jennifer (Jason) Harper and Tori (Hayes) Foster, grandsons Shawn and Tobin White, and granddaughter Erika B. Caldwell, all of whom will hold her memory in their hearts forever. More than anything, Frances will be remembered as a pillar of strength and a beacon of hope to all those she met.
