Obituary of Linda Alessi

Linda Gangi Alessi passed away on March 29, 2024 at age 91. She was born on December 14, 1932, the 8^th child of Vincent and Maria Gangi. She was predeceased by her four brothers: Anthony, Walter, Louis and Fred, and her three sisters Antoinette, Edith and Gloria. She is also preceded in death by her husband Joseph “Chubby” and her daughter Carol. She is survived by her daughters Joan, Barbara (Frank) Marco, and Cathy (Bill) Kearney, and her grandchildren Daniel (Christine) DeLoatch, Lisa (Chris) Calo, and Frank (Teela) Marco, and Alex (Ian Lewis) Kearney. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren: Nate, Sophie, Michael, Cecelia, and Walter. She was loved by many nieces and nephews.

               Linda was a contributing writer to the Lebanon Democrat and an active member of First United Methodist Church in Lebanon, where she was involved in the Young at Heart group, and the Questors Sunday School class.

               Linda lived happily at Saddlebrook, where she enjoyed her many friends, playing cards, and organizing activities as well as leading a Share Group. In her final days, she remembered all of those good times.
