Obituary of Linda Gail Ramsey

Linda Gail Ramsey passed away on April 2, 2024 at age 81. The Graveside Service, conducted by Brother Mark Caruth, is 1 p.m. Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Leeville Cemetery in Lebanon TN. Friends are welcome to celebrate her graveside (7071 Hickory Ridge Road).

               Linda Gail Ramsey was born in Nashville TN on February 21, 1943 to Hazel Draper and Paul Ramsey. In her late 20’s, she moved to Lebanon TN and resided there for 55 years. Linda Gail loved GOD and her family. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church for over 50 years.

                She served in the United States Army for three years as a medic stationed in Germany. In civilian life, she worked at Baptist Hospital as an OR Tech, retired, then worked as a night auditor for a hotel in Nashville TN.  Ms. Ramsey enjoyed travelling to the beach and the mountains, loved dolphins and UT sports.

                Ms. Ramsey is survived by her loving niece, Deborah Rose-Spangler (Bill); grand-nephew, Dennis Spangler (Jessica), great-nephew, Austin Spangler, great-niece Addysyn Spangler, and many cousins across the U.S. She is preceded in death by her parents, Hazel and Paul Ramsey, and sister Shirley Rose. The family wanted an honorary mention for Linda Gail’s best friend Sara Cox, and travelling buddy Bettie “Nanny” Spangler.
